Human Breathing Presence Sensor
A human presence sensor is an intelligent device that accurately detects human movement, stillness and slight motion within its range, converting sensing signals into trigger commands. Working Principle
It captures human physiological signals or motion characteristics to get detection results, with three mainstream technologies:
(1) Passive Infrared (PIR) — Basic Type
It relies on human infrared radiation and pyroelectric effect, with low power consumption and cost, but only sensitive to moving humans and prone to interference.
(2) Microwave Radar (including Millimeter Wave Radar) — Advanced Type
It actively emits microwaves/millimeter waves, detects humans (including stationary ones) via reflected wave differences, with high accuracy, strong anti-interference and 24/7 operation, but higher cost and power consumption.
(3) Multi-source Fusion Type — High-end Type
It combines PIR, radar and AI algorithms to avoid interference, improve accuracy, suitable for high-demand scenarios.
