LoRa Wireless Tank Level Monitor with 8-Month Battery
This is a complete, efficient liquid level monitoring system consisting of an ultrasonic level sensor and a LORA communication gateway, designed to solve the pain points of long-distance, wire-free, and low-maintenance liquid level monitoring. The ultrasonic level sensor adopts non-contact echo detection technology to accurately measure liquid level data in real time, while the LORA gateway serves as a core data transmission hub—receiving data from the sensor via LORA communication, then transmitting it to the dedicated mobile APP through WiFi. Both the mobile APP and the LORA gateway support real-time liquid level viewing, realizing dual-end monitoring and management. Notably, the ultrasonic sensor supports battery power supply, and can achieve an 8-month long battery life in low-power working mode, making it ideal for various scenarios where wired power supply is difficult or inconvenient.
Core Components Introduction
1. Ultrasonic Level Sensor
The sensor adopts non-contact measurement technology, which avoids corrosion, wear and liquid pollution caused by direct contact with the measured liquid, ensuring long-term stable operation. It is equipped with a high-performance battery and optimized low-power circuit design—under low-power mode, it can continuously work for 8 months without frequent battery replacement, greatly reducing later maintenance costs. It communicates with the LORA gateway through LORA technology, featuring strong anti-interference ability and long transmission distance, suitable for remote monitoring scenarios such as outdoor water towers, farm irrigation ponds, and industrial storage tanks.

2. LORA Communication Gateway
As the data transfer center of the whole system, the LORA gateway has two core communication functions: it receives real-time liquid level data sent by the ultrasonic sensor through LORA (with long transmission distance and low power consumption), and transmits the integrated data to the mobile APP through 2.4G WiFi. At the same time, the gateway is equipped with a local display interface, which can directly display the current liquid level data, realizing local visual monitoring without relying on the APP.

3. Mobile APP
The dedicated mobile APP (compatible with both iOS and Android systems) supports remote real-time viewing of liquid level data, historical data query, and liquid level change trend statistics. It has an intuitive operation interface, which is easy to get started without professional technical background. Users can set upper and lower liquid level thresholds in the APP, and once the liquid level exceeds the set range, the APP will push real-time alarm notifications, helping users grasp the liquid level status in time and avoid safety accidents such as liquid overflow or equipment dry running.
